Fairystories

A hundred years ago, two children managed to convince Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and the world, that there were fairies living in Yorkshire.  This beautifully crafted musical explores the motivation of children, and the motivation of those around them who want to believe.

Starring local legends Ali Harper and Roy Snow as the romantic leads, Sophie Landis and Oscar Parkes as the mischievous children, Blair McHugh as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and Elijah Moore as his chauffeur.

Enjoy an entertaining and heartfelt look into English life in the 1920s, and the exquisitely beautiful music of Paul Graham Brown with orchestrations by Christchurch's Gabriel Baird (also on bassoon).

"A gentle and optimistic tale of imagination and inner life, of grieving and healing. A melodic musical, full of heart and suitable for the whole family."

"The songs are beautiful... the overall impression in this piece is one of charm and warmth."
